Acrylic gouache and airbrush on board. Here's where a little airbrush helped out. On some earlier pieces, I tried some experiments that went a little too far. In this case, I masked out the foreground golem and put in a subtle sky, then went back over the top of it. The green "radioactivity" was enhanced because there was some green already under the airbrush layer. I then scraped off the sky and revealed more of the glow. An accident I'll have to try again later.
